Fall Field Trips

Book an educational and fun field trip in the fresh open air of our real, working dairy farm! Green Acres offers hands-on learning and grade appropriate Field Trips by appointment only. Hosted by a certified Early Education Teacher, each wagon ride/tour is adapted to the age and abilities of your group!

Preschool & kindergarten classes enjoys five, 15 minute rotations of our field trip activities. Grade school classes enjoys five, 20 minute rotations of our field trip activities.

Field Trip Rotations

Wagon Ride & Dairy Tour

Hop on our wagon as we drive by beautiful pumpkin patches and corn fields.

We are a real life working family dairy farm. Come see our 1500 beautiful milk cows, and our baby calves, and learn about where your food comes from. Small rotations for small group instruction.

Corn Maze

Acres of fun. Choose from our Large Maze, or for those short on time, navigate through our smaller maze.

Work together as teams to find all the check points. Great for team building! (grades 1-12 will have 40 minutes in the corn maze)

Giant Slide

Feel the rush of the wind as you safely slide down our hay pyramid!

We know a big part of the learning process is doing something that is exciting and new! Our giant slide is a great way to give students a birds eye view of the farm before they enjoy a thrilling ride to the bottom!

Petting Zoo

An up close experience with our fuzzy farm friends!

Kids love being hands-on and our petting zoo is one of the most hands-on activities at Gibson's! Students will love meeting our furry and feathered farm residents!

Hay Maze, Duck Races, & Farm Games

Grampi's Games is a fun area for young minds to explore and compete against their classmates!

Students will enjoy exploring our small scale maze built from hay bales, race each other in our water pump rubber duck races, and play head to head in our other familiar farm games!

We do all the work and organizing for you! Just show up, keep your classes together and we will give you a schedule to rotate through all the activities.

Pumpkin U-Pick
for your Field Trip

Over 20 varieties of specialty pumpkins to choose from. We can set aside some for your group to purchase from $1-$5 or your students can pick their own for only 50 cents a pound.

Preparing for your Field Trip

We are a working dairy farm. Please have students dress appropriately (closed-toe shoes or boots, dark colored/older clothes, weather appropriate jackets). We will get messy!
