About Gibson’s Green Acres
Who We Are
The Gibson’s have been farming for over 150+ years on their 7th generation farm in Ogden, and today the farm is owned and managed by Wayne Gibson and his son Ron. In 2016, Ron’s wife Andrea saw a need to diversify in order for the farm to continue in Weber County and for the next generation to stay on the farm and make a living.
Thus, Gibson’s Green Acres was born! The farm is designed to provide Weber County a fun and exciting place to enjoy the great outdoors of a real working farm while enjoying several family oriented activities.
About our Working Dairy and Onion Farm
Ron and Bennett (Ron’s son) milk 1,500 cows three times a day and farm over 2,000 acres of corn, alfalfa, and feed for the dairy cows. The Gibsons also grow 300 acres of onions which can be purchased through their sister farm, Bennett Farms Legacy. Andrea and Trina run all of the agritourism aspects of the farm with help from many family members.
We also offer a farmer led tour of our dairy farm which includes quite a bit more of our farm and family history! We invite you to hop aboard one of our tractor drawn wagons to learn more about the farm. See you soon!
